word to the wise from someone who has been trying to work out things relating to home loans and such, unless you have a good deposit (like $20K) and a good income ($35K+/year) or have parents who are willing to use their house as a guarantee, you won't get too far ( ... )

Well I do know it is rather difficult and very risky business when it comes to affordability and incomes but I will have enough money for the deposit on a loan and I with any luck a better paying job by then as well thanks to a few new programs being offered at uni with industry clients :)
Thankies for the information though :3 I will have to keep it all in mind ^.^

i implore you if you can to follow and obtain your dream but i don't want you to hit the first wall and figure it's all too hard.

hrmmm I hope I don't hit the wall either but from what everyone has been saying I will :P oh well still a few more years to organise everything before I even consider doing it
