Birthday update!

Ok, I lie. First I have to get some Harry Potter news/thoughts out of the way.
I just watched/listened to the last International Trailer, and OMG as if my ships needed anymore fuel, I found this gem:
Draco: *atop Tower, sobbing* I have to do this!
Snape: *slowly, sadly* it’s … over ( Read more... )

glittery sparkly shining gay, oh so awkward, marriage scares me, slash, fun and games, cancel cancel cancel, travel, harry potter, birthday, silly goose

because TWO childhood friends of mine are getting married before I’ve even had a proper boyfriend DX

Yeah, so we definitely share a brain, and I feel your pain. ♥

I've also not had anything resembling a proper boyfriend, and it's not for lack of wanting - it's just that decent men are so, so uncommon. What is it about almost every society that raises straight men with the need to be macho and always right and just plain ew?

-_-

God, I wish I swung both ways - it'd make things so much easier. There are so many gorgeous, wonderful women in my life, who'd be happy to get with me - and so few decent straight guys. But where are we supposed to find men that will understand our craziness and humour and flailing and general fascination with everything that life throws at us?

... Ugh. Sorry to shower ya with lonely angst. XD

It is kinda scary how these things seem to be with us, neh?

I don't get what's happened with men either - apparently once upon a time they were gentlemen, but now it seems like we live in a society where they're all just pigs or their heads are so far up their own arse they wouldn't know an insult if it was flung in their face. >_>;;

I agree with your sentiments there. Honestly, I've never been sure if I'm not bisexual, so I reckon I'd almost be willing to try lesbianism out when I get back to Australia. For whatever strange reason, I can bet that any woman I met would be so much better than any of the guy's I've had the displeasure of meeting!

This is the sad truth. And I reckon it's why I'll stay single forever. XD;

♥ Don't worry about it, angst is one of my favourite things~! lol

I KNOW AND I HATE IT. =(

I so say go for it - cause yeah, that'd probably be so much nicer than putting up with a man. If I could, I would... I've kissed my share of women, and never really felt anything... I dunno, though. If I keep meeting the icky men I meet, I may have to try harder on the lesbian thing. XD I wish you luck with your endeavous! <3

LOL I love that my friends are all like this. I had a friend that said the exact same thing awhile back (though then she found the guy who she's now engaged to :/). I definitely wouldn't knock it till I've tried - as they say. :) Looks like I'll be hanging around the gay bars a whole lot once I get back to Brissy. XD;
