I realize when you don't call someone when you know you should, you feel guilty.  Then you put off calling or contacting that person because you feel bad and you know you'll probably get bitched out because well, you've earned it.  So the whole thing spirals out of control, and gets worse and worse.

So here's the deal.  You get good at apologizing

Jaimie says she will contact you in her own time and way, but due to her past record of neglect, I've decided to leave you notice here that she is going to the MEPS station in Denver on Thursday the 11th. So far, she indicates an intention to enlist for the Army College Fund, no bonus, as a Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. She says she just wants to fix things, as opposed to working with tedious data or (shudder) people, so she's amenable to suggestion possibly for some other repair-type MOS such as Signal, Commo, etc. She says she'd like to go air assault, and there's a reserve Psyops unit she's interested in (though she's going active duty) which hires gals for that. She expects to ship out on January 20th For Ft Jackson, where she expects to remain through IET till near the end of June unless something changes. I checked with Tina, who says you won't be available to visit much upon your return in Feb, so no reason to delay.
