[While the bright hours of daylight have long passed, the world doesn't yet belong to the night. It is dusk, the time of the dying sun. A killing is at hand

[Appears in the distance, watching, and giving off an eerie vibe herself. And while her face is expressionless and her eyes are obscured by light glinting from her glasses, she seems to be gathering enjoyment from your torment...]
[Darkness seems to fall further around her, and while she doesn't answer... and odd... creaking metallic sound seems to rise in response to the threat... like metal scraping against metal.]
[Leaving Rao as a toy to play with later - knowing she would not, could not move - the fox begins to move out into the fog, searching for the interloper. The metallic scraping noises raise its hackles and it snarls again to show that such sounds aren't enough to humble it.]
[Kurama finds himself drawn to the dream by a vague sense of familiarity. A creature like him, but crueler. He advances with his belly low to the ground and his ears flattened against his head. A low growl rumbles in his chest.]
[The same kind of feeling comes over the fox as Kurama nears. It turns away from the cowering, frozen woman to search the mist behind it. The fact that it cannot figure out why it somehow almost-knows this presence irritates and intrigues it into speaking in a deep and haunting voice.]
[Unafraid, Kurama steps into the open, head up, tails lashing the air behind him. His eyes, normally cool amber, burn red as his youki stirs in response to the potential threat of a kitsune whose tails number more than twice as many as his own.]
[Ninetails tilts its head, more curious than angry now. Another fox? How strange. But it must be a weak thing, with so few tails. The masked kitsune steps closer, its own tails swaying side to side, low to the ground, like a cobra poised to strike.]
Hn. What's your business here, little one? Surely you have your own holy women to slaughter.
[He's wandered unknowingly into the dream. He isn't sure where we is or what curse is happening this time. All he knows is that he's been wandering between what seems like two entirely different worlds. He's a little disoriented and then... he sees Ninetails and Rao. He instantly recognizes Rao as the priestess he had befriended (or so be believes) and the Ninetails as some type of youma. His disorientation vanishes and he's instantly alarmed.]
[Rao snaps out of her waking terror and looks away from the hulking fox, instead in the direction of the voice shouting her name. She seems to grow even more scared when she recognizes Rokuta]
R-Rokuta? Get out of here! This monster is going to-!
[Her words are cut off by Ninetails' paw slapping her roughly into the wall of rock. The fox isn't one to normally play with its food, but sometimes there are exceptions.]
[Rokuta does not approve of giant youma hurting his friends. He grows angry instantly when he sees Ninetails toss Rao into the wall.]
Rikaku, Yokuhi!
[Rikaku, a large wolf like beast with three tails, leaps from his shadow and swiftly places himself between Ninetails and Rao. He's about as big as Ninetails, perhaps a tad smaller. Next from Rokuta's shadow is the white bird like woman Yokuhi who rushes to Rao's side, offering her a clawed hand so that she may fly the priestess to safety.]
[If Ninetails could roll its eyes, it would. Why did silly humans have to interfere so much? They should just die silently and not be so annoying. It snarls and disdainfully lashes at Rikaku with five of its tails. Rao, meanwhile, reaches out to take Yokuhi's clawed hand - but this is the fox's dream and the fox doesn't want her to get away, so three more tails zero in to smack the bird-woman and the priestess apart.]
