Amazing! All the promise of the early sketches has been fulfilled in my book.

Thanks so much! I honestly really like the angsty look of the early sketches/painting, but it just doesn't work for this project. I'm saving it for a future project, though :D

This is probably one of the best paintings I've ever done.

Agreed. This is VERY impressive. Well done!

Wow. Just wow.. You really outdone yourself there with the final painting. It makes me feel his pain in that part of the book. And I agree: he has to wear the glasses. Harry without his glasses is not the real Harry for me.

Absolutely gorgeous! ^_^

Yeah, unfortunately, he MUST wear glasses. ugh. I *hate* painting glasses. This came out really well because I literally spent like 2 days painting those glasses. It was hard! :D

But thanks so much!

I am absolutely blown away. I, too, agree it's one of your greatest pieces (that I've seen - but I've checked out all of your pieces here on lj, so, ehe).
It really works the way you meant it to. It's beautifully polished up, so refined. The contrast is great, the light, and the many reds so vivid in the final painting...gah. Just wonderful. Amazing.

All of my pieces on LJ are just about everything I've done in terms of fan art. I have non-fan-art stuff here:

Ugh, I need to redo this website PRONTO. It looks awful to me.

The colors for this piece came out surprisingly well. I wasn't so keen on what I was doing for the underpainting, but when this went on top of it...it was like, wow! LOL I'll probably hate this painting in a few weeks though.

I've seen those two! And I think the website looks totally cool, but I get why it might be getting old to you, ehe.

It's the artist's fate to be eternally unsatisfied with their own work. Sad, trite, but true!

Ugh, it is.

Unfortunately, I am not an expert in HTML and CSS, and every single time I work on my website, I get so frustrated :( I need to move my entire website to another domain, actually, and I just dread needing to do that.
