Our nominations for the Dublin Award are due in about three weeks, and the committee has almost reached a decision.

1. Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
2. Let It Rain Coffee by Angie Cruz
3. ???

Choice #3 seems to be a struggle between The Sea by John Banville, Saturday by Ian McEwan, and our dark horse candidate (which I have to finish), ( Read more... )

...missed you at the UNT dinner! How am I gonna borrow your hood?

Are you working Friday and can you bring it in with you? I head back tomorrow and will be heading north and/or west - my sister lives just east of Voss and south of I-10, between Westheimer and San Felipe - would your branch be north or west of that?
I'll probably be heading out after 2 PM but before 4.
