I read 45 books this year, 5 shy of my 2010 goal--even with comic books I’ll never make it in time. But I did read 7 more than I did last year, which is the beginning of a return to pre-motherhood numbers.

But for the shouting, it's done. I filled out the forms for our 2010 Dublin Award nominations and submitted them electronically. I will have to wait until tomorrow before mailing everything out. I don't know that I'm entirely thrilled with our choices (The Good Thief, Olive Kitteridge, and Plague of Doves), but they are good enough ( Read more... )
