So Im getting ready right now to travel an hour south of me to go to my first SCA event in years. the Past few months have seen me start to, against my better judgment, re-enter the Scadian world

I enjoyed playing with my old household then some drama put everything on hold for awhile. as a general rule I like individuals in the organization but there are people who cause problems for everyone just so the can feel important.

My household often plays in Sylvan Glen since our founding clan hails from Martinsburg so I know a few people out your way and most things I hear about the Glen is good, so I wish you luck.

Never knew you were a Scadian (though I should have guessed). I've been getting into it myself this past year (due to ex-gf and most of my neighbors being part of it). I'm planning on going to Pennsic this year for the first time.

Pennsic is a good time. I might do a couple of Day trips down this year but I really cant go the whole 2 weeks. though after today I might go down to war practice and re-authorize so I can do a bit of fighting. I didnt realize how much I missed it till today.
