Which Judy Blume stuff, though? Cause she's on my list of Authors Who Irritate Me. With a few exceptions that I love (hi, Fudge!, and also HTYRR, which hit my gifted child love so hard I saw stars), I am largely made WAY UNCOMFORTABLE via her books.

But I love Rachel something awful.

Generally: why the not-loving-of-the-Judy? The middle-grade stuff I can sort of understand, though I do have the love, but what about say, Tiger Eyes? Or the adulty stuff?
