Giggles! So I came back & re-read, it's even better when I'm not short on sleep & suffering from too much flu meds! I think its the domesticity of this, relationships aren't all sexual fireworks or romantic mushiness, but just the small, every day things & this captures that beautifully.

This is great. I loves me some quietly domestic fic, and this is very real life and lovely in its normalcy. A great change from the high-drama aspect of the show, like seeing the bits and pieces between the action that are just as important to the House and Wilson dynamic as infarctions and POTWs. Mems all the way!

I was feeling a need for domesticity, too; I'm fascinated by how that might work between these two guys.

Wow, this is potent. It definitely evokes a smaller world, almost a wistfulness to it. Interesting use of Stacy - I particularly liked the line: "She said I should use my big fucking brain to figure out that I was going to lose you if I didn't try a little harder."

Glad it worked for you! I can see Stacy telling House off about just about anything, for some reason. Though, having just rewatched Need To Know, I'm not sure it's in character for her and House to be speaking at all, eek.
