Ahaha I'm actually a little surprised that Nagase came out like he did. I didn't set out for him to be as serious as he is in the opening, but it felt natural, because though he's Professor Awkwardpants McGee he has his serious moments too. XD

LMAO THEY NEEDED IT. If that's how their regular conversations go it's no wonder Gussan (lol I originally wrote that as Hussan which makes him out to be such a hussy geez) went and married a girl! Nagase is happy to assist. XD

Oh god I kind of went osdihgfgjnGUSSAAAAAAAN when it came to me, because ): it's kind of a throwaway line when you're not paying attention to it, but.

lol you did indeed. :D I'm glad you enjoyed it--I actually wrote the very beginning of the opening, up to the "why are you calling him Shige" line, and then jumped right to the porn and kind of filled in the blanks from there.

The HEA person in me is a little sad, though I guess yay for Nagase and Leader. ;) But, yeah, the Gussan fanatic appreciator in me was a little mopey after I finished the story, though that was more for the fact that Gussan kept trying to take the non-confrontational/passive way of dealing with the whole thing than that he's never going to have a completely happy ever after ('cause forget even all those years with Leader and the still kind of gay for him thing, now he's had Nagase, and is there really any going back from that, either? ;). Definitely a great story, though, a very deft piece of character work, catching pieces of all of them, both good and bad, in very few words. It's often the tiny details that expose the most (Nagase taking Leader off at the end, the grip Nagase had had on Gussan's leg, the way he helped with the shoes even while angry, even the fact that Gussan wrung the towel out and then left without saying anything else), and the whole thing... just really well done.

And I really tried not to be happy about

Thank you so much! This started off as "I'll write your porn for every chapter of your readings you do :D :D" and. I got this. :l lol this got a lot more Nagase character study than I meant it, but he's the one I'm most comfortable with in this situation so I'm not really surprised. :D;;
