Set during POA. I imagine many girls would've had rather big crushes on Professor Lupin. How would McGonagall, who of course had noticed the closeness of Mssrs. This was so lovely. McGonagall was great. I like her a lot and her wisdom in telling Remus to take love whenever he can find it was just fitting.

Everyone likes my McGonagall. I am surprised and immensely happy because I did try hard to make her just right.
And I did love that line, even if it makes me sound up myself to say I like something I wrote myself.

Serious blushing happening now, but probably not in a sweet Remus-y way, more like a bleeding tomato sort of way (but the tomato might be sweet - HA! the wit).
Very glad you liked her because she rocks in the books and I wanted her to work in my fic in the same way.
And I loved the cat joke too (I am just so witty of late, aren't I?)

And I am writing your swimming fic, but I am thinking of attempting something a bit different and that may take some time. But you will get it eventually.

Whoa! I have never read anything like this before. It was aboslutely wonderful. Happy, but kind of sad, too. Well, not really sad. More melancholy, I guess, because of what happened. I like the idea of McGonagall knowing about R/S while they were at school. And the cat joke. *snerk* You managed to characterise her very well.

More melancholy
I think that's what I was going for, because there's always that underlying touch of sadness and loneliness to Remus that I can't help but write about in practically every single fic.
And huzzah for McGonagall because people seem to like her, and that makes me happy.

I think there's evidence of it, and it's a lot of fun to write. I recommend it to all.
Glad that you liked it and that it didn't cause your eyes to explode, because that would be bad (that was bizarre because I am tired).
