Eve was SO GREAT. From the very beginning when she was talking to that guy near the tourist office about it still being early for sea monsters I was all "Gwen! ♥" I loved how happy they all were about her being pregnant - for those few seconds before they realized Jack had a bomb in his stomach (which was genius!)

"Awww, good old Torchwood! You silly, silly show!"

I was exactly the same, and now I'm all flaily because it has actually been amazing, and I never used to expect that of Torchwood.

Yeah I was a bit like Jack when she learned that she was pregnant. "It's good isn't it? Yes? No? Surely it is... right? FOR GOD'S SAKE SAY SOMETHING!". I have realized I really care about her too now ^^

Yeah it's funny because we're both unrepentant fans of the show but we still don't expect too much from it. That's a bit paradoxical but I think we have now learnt our lesson! ^^ We can now be proud of being TW fans because it IS a very good show!

=> well, the trailer showing Gwen jumping out of an ambulance firing two guns really didn't help XD But yeah, the more I saw/read, the more I hoped and so I'm glad no one's (or almost) been disappointed until now!

Yes I need an Eve icon like RIGHT NOW too!

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself not wanting to kick Gwen in the head. I think I'm finally in a place where I'm ok with the way that the relationships between the boys and between Jack and Gwen are being handled. I only hope the writers don't do something to ruin it.

Also I'm pretty sure I found the first torrent that went up last night and it was on piratebay. That's usually the place that has the first torrent and the most seeds. My ep downloaded in less than 30 minutes.

Yeah, of course I think the fact that Gwen doesn't annoy the fans anymore is mostly because the relationships between the characters are kind of "settled". No more "rivalry" between Gwen and Ianto eventhough they sort of have always been friends.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try to watch Pirate Bay as well...

Me and the bro loved it to bits and I have much agreement with you on Gwen (which is saying something since I was part of the haters in series 1).

Jack and Ianto's relationship has never been better handled than in this episode alone, trufax.

Yeah I can understand what the problem was in the first series :/ I'm really glad the writers got the message and gave birth to a new awesome Gwen :)
