Basics in BAND CAMP that is. You know, that lovely first-part-of-the-rehearsal mess. Where some guy gets up in front of you, rants and raves about marching technique, and then has you practice the same exercise until you're too sore, sweaty and sunburned to want to move.

I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I've written.

My diary has been on hiatus because I'm looking for a digital camera. I think my enthusiasm for Open Diary right now really involves posting pictures with my entries, and since I don't have that capability, I guess I've just not been very motivated to write.

This is it. This is what I am supposed to have lived for my whole life.. this moment.. the moment where I realize that I've left home, and have gone into the real world -- college.

Band Camp: Grueling marching drills (outside in the ninety degree weather), tedious music rehearsals, exausting drill setting, and a great deal of personal conflicts between band members and staff members.
