so i have realized that my mom and i can't be alone at home for more than an hour without an argument.  we just had a 2 hour, essentially one-sided fight, where she proceeded to verbally assault me for almost the entire time

anyway.

1) You're right.
2) Of course she's done a lot for me, but I just hate having it thrown in my face all the time.
3) I can do it; It's just something that literally may be 5 years away unless I start making more $ and start being responsible with it.

What a shitty night- but I think I agree with Marisa. No more excuses- and you know what Colbert says about picking yourself up by your bootstraps "It is possible, I saw a man do it once, and it was amazing!" haah. What you need is baby steps. You need to be able to forgive yourself and love yourself, then look in the mirror and laugh...and take the first step to being an independent powerful person (that is hiding inside you dying to come out!). Somehow you managed to bury the "Si, se puede" inside of you with negatives over and over. You need to not be so hard on yourself, but need to love yourself...so in a way you need to be really strict about allowing yourself to be better than where you are now by pushing down the anxiety, the not knowing, the embarassment, the feeling of failure or that you should be somewhere so different by now. Well, you are not. We all fail ourselves...but we just have all these expectations that crush us...don't let yourself be crushed

...i will have to ponder this over a good plate of moist and meaty.
