•Osvi is playing for the Azzurrini against Greece right now -- he started on the right of a front three, and is tearing around as usual. He's also being praised by Mario Balotelli, who talked to the press yesterday about the strength of the young Italian attack, specifically mentioning Osvi (among others).

•Dainelli was in the press room today [Read more... )

And, finally, I'm really worried Gila is losing his hair. Y/y?
I don't think so.. look at this picture: http://www.corrieredellosport.it/images/07/C_3_Media_441307_immagine.jpg

Alright then, I'm reassured. (As long as that doesn't mean it all fell out, like, 10 minutes later. *g*)

OMG GILA. *ruffles hair* He looks adorable in the picture in the comments.

LULZ. Does everyone text!fuck with Toni?

I really hope Mutu can get this turned around. Hopefully he won't have to worry about it for a while.

You can almost hear his brain going "Buzzuh?"

Ha! It seems like it, I think Frey talked about it, too, but it was hard to tell -- Dainelli was like "We all joke with him now, but it'll be different on the pitch." Or something like that?

That's true, maybe he'll just relax for a bit, during the waiting time. *crosses fingers for him*

Jovetic kind of reminds me of a young Alan Davies. *g*

We were in Florence when he was presented to the press. We were by the stadium, and when we saw all the fans pile in we followed them to see what was going on. We ended up sitting in the posh seats for a while - the only chance we'll ever get of sitting there, I guess - and I tried to take pictures and a bit of a vid, but all you can see is the back of his head.

Needless to say I have no intention of quitting my job to become a freelance paparazzo. Or should that be a paparazza. *g*

That's so cool that you got to see his presentation -- and by accident, too? Awesome. And your video is damn good I say -- we can see his purple shirt and his hair, what else do we need? *g*

... Being led on the tour by Kuzi and Avramov, the muppet Serbs. <3

(JESUS. Why is it only in Italy? It seems like maybe they could narrow down the cause pretty well by looking @ chemicals/techniques only they use, if no other European footballers from that era are having the same rate of ALS.)

But Jojo's like 14! Surely the Serbs have some sense of propriety? (Speaking of the Serbs, Kuzi didn't play at all today. Deki looked angry and very sweaty the whole time.)

(I don't think I knew that ALS was the main killer of those thought to have died b/c of the doping; for some reason I though they were suffering from a huge variety of cancers. Is it both?)

I stare at Gila's hair too. I think it's just really fine hair, but it's important to keep an eye on such things.

I thought he was Pazzini in that picture (until I realized it was impossible), and Pazzo's hair is NOT going to be around much longer. I remain unconvinced by Gila's, but I will take the fine-ness thing into considering when I evaluate future photos. :P

Pazzo's always had a huge forehead anyway, the hair loss will hardly be noticeable. :p And I know, I don't have faith in Gila's hair either. Possibly he'll just lose it due to stress.

He had a great touch today to help create the winning goal, and his "celebration" face was full of existential angst. If hair didn't fall out, it definitely went grey.
