Its a particular type of geekery that requires me to immediately stat out Get Backers characters in Weapons of the Gods. What's worse is how WotG manages to pull off each character so accurately.

I got that same feeling from Jubei's dad in Jubei-Chan the Ninja Girl and its sequel.

I love Bleach, and agree with your assessment. I am sick of reluctant heroes too.

I went to Memento's site that you linked to a while back to check and see what he had to say about these Bleach Episodes.

I was rather pleasantly surprised to see that he felt similar to the way I did regarding that particular episode.

I disagree with him regarding the rest of the series, however. I think it rocks. :P
