Highlight of the day: being hit on my a lesbian (or bisexual, or something without an Official Queer Label) at Starbucks in front of my mom. Tomorrow, in order to stave off death by boredom, we're driving up to the Shaw Festival to see a play. Should be a fund field trip.

I just finished watching Ripley's Game. It's so, so good: roughly seventeen point two times better than the original. I attribute this to two things: 1) better plot and 2) John Malkovich. I found this article about the opposition to gay marriage heartening. And it did remind me that Monday is when gay marriage becomes legal in this state, which is very 'yay!'
