As a follow up to the previous post, I'm doing about as well as can be expected. I tried to make Gwenn's last weekend as great as possible, with lots of love and extra treats. I am so, so sorry. It is always so hard to say goodbye to our four-legged children. Even when we know it's the right thing to do, because they're hurting and we can't help them, it doesn't make it any easier to bear.

I know lots of great beagles who are beyond the Rainbow Bridge, so she will have a wonderful pack to run with.

ETA: I read the previous post, that she was a rescue from a bad situation. You gave that dog what every dog deserves: love and security. You are an angel.
