Unrelated to this massive Buffy post, but OMG EMMA I'VE BEEN WATCHING CHUCK! I just wanted to tell you. Seriously, it's only been three days and I'm halfway through s2. SO SO SO SO SOOOOO GOOD! And I'll be up to date for s3 so we can ACTUALLY discuss together omg yay! :D
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY YOU JUST MADE MEEEEEEEEEEE, I KNEW YOU WOULD LOVE IT. Also last five eps of s2: best thing in the world. YOUR TIMING IS IMPECCABLE, YAY YOU.
Also I haven't forgotten my side of the deal, but one of my friends bought True Blood so I'm just waiting for her to finish so I can borrow it instead of dling it.
I AM HAPPY THAT YOU ARE HAPPY OMFG JOY. I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH A SHOW SO QUICKLY BUT OMG ALL MY PRECONCEPTIONS WERE SO WRONG. This show is like a plate of happy, smiley cookies to me. Whereas most of what I watch is like ~dramaaaaaaa omg slit your wrists NOW~.

SHE IS AMAZING. Every emotion that she portrays I feel in my very core. SERIOUSLY. Like I said in my post, there was one time that she said "I can't breathe" and I literally could not either. I don't know how she does it, but it's absolutely incredible to watch. (Also she really does have tiny shoulders, lmao! I noticed that last night, she's so small.)

SO, I AGREE LIKE 100% WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. I didn't finish s7, but now I totally need to go back and watch the whole series again. Riley was soooo boring, and I hated the Initiative stuff. And I didn't hate Buffy/Spike but I didn't love it either - I am waaaay more a Buffy/Angel person. I need to watch Angel The Series, also.
Oh wow, we really do have the exact same opinions, that's awesome! Buffy/Angel are so lovely. And if you didn't finish s7 I totally recommend it! It wasn't a particularly memorable season, but the last episode was exquisite. I really want to watch Angel toooo, I actually watched the last half of s2 and all but the last 4 episodes of s3, but I need to watch it properly.

I love Buffy so much, and reading all of your thoughts was so much fun. It's really my favorite show ever, ever. Season 4 really had some wonderful stand-alone episodes, I agree. Hush is one of my favorite of the series, but I agree. Overall, it's pretty lacking. It's not completely horrible, but it's definitely one of the weakest.
Xander/Anya were great and I really loved them a ridiculous amount. For me it was more about my insane amounts of love for Anya than Xander, but still. They were adorable and hilarious together. That scene at the end with Andrew and Xander kills me every time I see it. I just bawl my eyes out. (I've only ever seen one icon of them, and it's from "Once More With Feeling" and not very coupley?
Sarah is fantastic and so talented. AND I LOVE HER.
Okay I feel like I knew Buffy was your favourite show but I totally forgot. But that's awesome! And omg, it is amazing! Totally up there with my all-time favourites too, and more than that, it's just all around fantastic. Absolutely one of the most quality shows I've ever watched.
Totally agreed about s4! I mean, I still enjoyed watching it, but the arc is weak. But it has Hush, so that goes a long way in redeeming it. Such an amazing episode.
Yes re: Xander/Anya! I don't even particularly care about Xander that much, so it's funny that all the ships involving him are my favourites. I just love Anya SO MUCH, behind Buffy she maaaaaay be my fave. And yeah, I managed to find two icons of them, but they are nowhere near coupley enough. I want more!
She is incredible and beautiful and so so talented. Also I've been watching some youtube interviews of her lately and she seems really smart and funny too. She is just darling.
