I'm in my apartment in Brooklyn. The hum of the city is louder tonight. The dampness in the air gives the sound vibrations more matter to affect and amplifies the hum to a roar. There's a thunderstorm outside. The empire state building is intermittnetly lit up in shocking daylight and then right back to night.
