After his conversation with Buffy and a coincidental conversation with a stranger it didn't take him long to get his hands on what he liked to call the company car. Sure, it was his - until someone else needed it. But, right now, they didn't and even if someone needed a ride, Giles had one as well and this was more important

Tabby walked over towards the front door, head bobbing to the music blaring from her head phones, with air drums well included.
She stops before she nearly runs into the poor man and grins at him, pulling one head phone out so she doesn't have to ask him to scream his name at her.
"Tabby Smith and you arree?"

"Well she's here now broseph so things can be all swimming along again."

"Yeah, maybe," he replied, trying to gain back some enthusiasm. "She...doesn't know I'm here and could you -- not tell her?" he asked, nicely.

"Yeah! I've got no problem keeping it on the down low Xander."

"Thanks," he replied, leaning his head down. "Tabby." He remembered. He did. And he was proud of himself!

"So if you need a place to stay tonight there is like a ridiculous amount of free rooms in this place."

"Okay," he replies. "I mean, sorry. I'm really rude. Thank you, that'd be really...really good. That's nice of you."

Tabby can't help but laugh, and pats him on the shoulder pointing towards the stairs. "Take one with nothing in it, and no your not rude."

"Okay." He moves past her towards the stairs ready to get his foot out of his mouth. Maybe he'd see Buffy soon. But, even now he has no idea what he's going to say.
