The flight to the airport wasn't entirely bad. Hell, the entire trip was pretty fun if you looked past the anti-mutant problems, bailing Crystal out of jail, and getting drugged. Scott left his car in Warren's bag and was first out, making a dash for the door. Before moving up the steps he glanced at Warren and Crystal. "C'mon ( Read more... )

Disobeying and being generally annoying. double_dynamite May 23 2010, 02:41:09 UTC
Tabitha did not care that her ankle was swollen, or her ribs were broken, or even that her god damn eye felt like it was hit with a baseball bat and her jaw was bruised a violent purple.
Oh no, she only cared that she had been told to take it easy when all these other people were like dead and stuff.
Tabitha Smith may be many things but patient was not one of them.
She just hopes that no one sees her attempting to hobble from her makeshift bed on the floor.

"Tabitha," Alex pointed to the bed. "Don't make me tie you down."

Tabby turns slowly, an innocent grin plastered on her face as she keeps trying to slowly hobble off. "Aww Al I didn't know you were so very kinky."

And that comment just went over his head because yeah Cas moment. "Really, you shouldn't be walking around, there's enough of us that weren't hurt to deal with things."

Sherry stumbled into the room having heard voices, and when she recognized a few she dropped the rebar that had once been through her.

"I get my hands on that freak... he'll be lucky if the ferals can recognize the body..." Slipping down against the wall she looked at her shirt. "Aw man! And this was my favorite one too..." The tyrant's eyes are slowly fading from a hellish red and gold back to violet then blue. "Please tell me the kitchen's in some form of shape, because right now, you guys are making me hungry."

Caleb stopped on his way out the door; having deposited Layla he saw no sense in sticking around. He'd manage his own wound care; he didn't require a healer. But the woman who walked in caught his curiosity if he was honest. Then she asked about the kitchen.

Those dead, cold eyes flickered to Sherry as he spoke almost as blank as he had when delivering Layla "He's long gone, he's had us frozen for the last several hours. You're wanting him; it'll require hunting." Then a faint smirk curves his lips. "Kitchen is destroyed, follow me. I have supplies in my room." It wasn't an act of kindness, despite it seeming that way. One this woman was more then what she appeared and two; he needed to look good.

Sherry grinned back. "Good, I'd rather have a good hunt. Know how hard it is to get decent Sanrio stuff here in the states. This one was an import too." She got up needing to hold the wall a moment to steady herself.

Yeah it made her sound selfish, but at the moment she really didn't care because hello! Waking from the dead hurt like hell and really royally sucked ass.

It didn't phase Caleb either way, he was more interested by what he saw in Sherry. Then what she had on her person; or if she was a selfish woman or not. As she grins and admits she'd rather hunt the killer's head cants to the side.

"If you'd rather forgo the rations, I can change and a hunt can be arranged. Though, to hunt this one. We'd have to drive. Perhaps something more local would be appropriate."

Appearing in the middle of the day on the front lawn was Ashael. She had hair down and stared up at the large home that was known as Fortes et Liber. The place was being spoken about and she was one of the lucky ones who got to go to the place. Plus, as long as he'd be here, she could stay.

Ashael glanced up, seeing a few spots of wreckage as she walked to the front door. She let herself in and looked around quietly. The house was astrewn with mess.

Alex was actually asleep on the couch with Tabby. The displaced X-man didn't look like he was sleeping well, but looked like he needed it.

Sensing someone, Ashael turned and saw the two figures on the couch. One felt as if they could be the one she was here to observe. Noticing the little table in front of the couch, she carefully treaded over and sat down. Humans were fascinating creatures of Father's work to her. For the moment, her duties were aside as she watched him sleep.

Tabitha shifts slightly, her feet are freezing and she feels like she's being watched.
Groping blindly at the back of the couch she pulls a blanket over her legs and Alex's lap, ignoring the lady watching them and goes back to sleep.

When Klara had finally awoken it had been to a pouding headache and a throat that felt like someone had tried to strangle her to death... oh wait. They had.

Struggling to her feet Klara managed to haul herself along the landing, barely stifiling the hoarse scream that bubbled up at the sight of someone's feet. Clearly from the blueish tinge the guy hadn't been so lucky with his run-in with Martini. She didn't loiter to get a better look.

Taking the steps carefully Klara passed a mirror on the stairs, only to stop and stare at her reflection. Her skin was a pasty white, her lips cracked and dry and there were bright red and slowly deepening purple finger marks across her throat. Tears coarsed down her cheeks as she studied the perfect hand prints before continuing down to the rest of the house where she was sure she could hear voices.

Pity she couldn't call for help though.

Leaving Caleb's room she could smell plants nearby. Sherry moved through the quiet house and after a while of searching she found Klara.

"Shit, here... let me help, we'll get you to the others."

Stumbling towards Sherry, Klara clung to her and nodded, barely managing a hoarse whisper of thanks.

She mouthed out her next question as they wandered through the house. Someone died. Martini, he did all of this didn't he? I thought... I thought he was a nice guy.

She nodded. "He just flipped, because I remember seeing him about an hour before everything happened, maybe two, where he was just slipping out towards the lake. Next thing I know I'm getting stabbed through the stomach."
