And then I immediately got on another flight to Tampa where I just ( Read more... )

There is no way in hell that that much travel is good for your immune system. I'd say get some rest, but I'm sure you're at work and catching up on everything that backed up while you were out.

Drink lots of green or white tea and then go to bed early tonight!!

I went to bed around 10:30 and slept till 8, so I'm feeling a lot better today, though I still ahve this stupid fever. Green tea sounds very good, though. I wish I'd brought some sencha to work, now. :0)

33 hours from now, the weekend will start for me, and I can relax then. Well, I probably won't REST, because everything has finally started coming up in the yard, so I'm going to be out raking leaves off the perennial beds and moving a couple of shrubs. But that's relaxing work!

That's not relaxing work! It's work. You need a coma. :-)

Hee! I probably do need a coma. I do like gardening, though, and I was very nervous about whether the bulbs I'd planted last year would come up, and whether the cherry tree and lilacs I planted would make it through the winter (we had a horrifically hot and dry summer and even if you water them well, it's still extremely stressful on them). When I got home yesterday, I did take a quick trip around the yard to see if stuff was coming back - most of the daffodils are coming up, two of the iris clumps are coming up, and the lilacs and cherry tree are covered in buds and don't look like they've got any dead branches! So despite feeling like crap, that made me happy.

Of course, I just found out there's a chance of snow this weekend. Oy, Minnesota... (Actually, the rule of thumb around here is that you don't plant any annuals till Mother's Day, and if possible, wait till Memorial Day. Because of the risk of late frost.)
