An actual conversation I actually had tonight.

Watching The Perfect Storm, which none of us had seen before, at the climax when the ship capsizes and George Clooney and Marky Mark say their goodbyes:

Him: Daaaaaamn. I really thought they were gonna kiss. I'm kinda disappointed now.

Me: Oh my God. Hoyay is everywhere.

Him: Hoyay?

Me: It's an online term. It's a contraction of "homosexual subtext ( Read more... )

"The way he looks at him, like this..." And here she imitated the puppy dog eyes Sylar gives Mohinder every so often (read: alla time).

That...that is truly a priceless moment.

I've seen so many people say, "I thought the people talking about slash between them were crazy...until I saw them in 'Powerless'." I'd really like to know if, at any point during the filming of that, anyone fully realized how erotic it would look when Mohinder snapped that tourniquet.

It was priceless. I chimed in way too excitedly, of course, because OMG my Sylar-loathing friend sees Mylar. It... rather made my day, actually.

That's actually sort of my standpoint as well. I loved their canon dynamic, but I definitely did not ship them in a sexual sense until Powerless. The insane amounts of sexual tension in that episode convinced me otherwise. Something I've noticed in the past couple months, actually, is that I've run into people like my friend more than once; they hate Sylar and don't want to think of him as a sexual being at all, but they can see that there's something odd going on between him and Mohinder, or they can see why people would ship it. I do love it when non-shippers can see the ship! *is a fangirl*

Heh... I'm sure that at least some of the women on the set did. ^_^;

Well...he's actually a Peter fan. When she told me that, I said, "You have called off the wedding, right?"

When the oblivious straight guys start noticing it and pointing it out, and in a "they're so definitely in love" way rather than a "EWWWWW YUCK" way, it's just great!

Bromance? I've never heard that term before! Haha.

So this was completely uninstigated Mylar commetnary? You haven't spoken of your interest in the pairing to this guy before? That is fantastic.

I really need to watch Ten and John Simms live and not just in moticators. This is getting ridiculous.

You know, Sylar gives puppy dog eyes, but Mohinder has a lustful look, too. It's more "you know you want to" smirking.

I actually am not into that ship, but I can totally see how people interpret it that way. (You should still see them live, though. I love watching John Simm perform.)

And you are so right about Mohinder's look!
