[Franziska's irritated face fills up half the screen - the location is obviously a cave and in the background you can see a Marowak throwing her bone against the rocks before catching it on the rebound.]It's one thing to ungracefully discard of your waste on the floor of a cave like flithy, disgusting litter-bugs, but it's another thing entirely to ( Read more... )

[Thundara would normally have jumped at the chance to dash on over and fetch stuff for the humans (she's a bit of a ham now that she's evolved), but oops, she's the one using Flash, so she's gotta stick with Franziska.

So Snow heads over to pick up the bottle and rope, glancing at each once before pocketing the bottle and sliding the rope into his pack.]

See anything else while we're stopped?

Not that I'm aware of. I was more preoccupied in trying to avoid the Zubats than look at the ground every few feet.

Why would anyone waste perfectly usable items like this!?

Dropping them by accident is no excuse!

Who knows? Maybe some people can't handle the dark.

But it's a cool parlor trick. [ Kay why. ]

[The Marowak lights up underneath her skull and and proceeds to throw the bone up in the air, it spinning around her before catching it again.]

Look what you've done now. There's really no need to encourage that behavior. She should be focusing on battling.

Think of it this way, Ms. von Karma: she's getting all of that wild energy out so she can focus. It's like getting pumped up!

Sounds like a waste of "that wild energy" if you ask me.

Wouldn't it be better to harness it where it counts?

Your Pokemon shows remarkable dexterity, Miss von Karma.

[Oh look, it's that guy you hate who keeps showing up.]

Sometimes these 'foolish parlor tricks' can be useful for developing skills that will be advantageous in battle.

[WHY IS HE ALWAYS THERE]

That may be so, but if they keep developing skills outside of battle, they won't level. Wouldn't you think that it's more advantageous to develop these skills whilst in the thrust of a fight?

[Karma. Incredibly lame pun.]

Experience through battle is always necessary, yes. But from my experience, there are times when learning a skill before you try to use it in combat is better than attempting it without preparation.

[She knows that reasoning far too well. She lives by that reasoning of preparation. But... the thought of agreeing with him repulses her in every corner of her body.]

...I don't think I ever asked for your "Trainer Tips". I know my own Pokemon's abilities and how to use them effectively.

[...aand the Marowak gets a confidence boost. Cue more showing off.]

Her name is Ida. Due to my careful training regime, she's quite the sight to see in a battle.

[She can't help but consider that a compliment directed at herself.]

[Larry, and now Wobbuffet who happened to appear behind him, are staring in awe at the Marowak.]

I forgot how cool those guys were! It'd be awesome to see her in battle.

Wobba!

[Ida's ego: +1! Franziska's ego: +2!]

Perhaps one day you will get the privlege. Maybe I'll broadcast one of her battles when I get bored.
