They ARE about 12, her and her friend... maddening... They RP CATS!! Like, domestic cats... I was terrified to look at the forum she linked me too in case I saw more kids playing as cats! (worse, humping cats!!)

I think it's the insane amount of stupid being force fed to them thanks to the No Child Left Behind Act, at least that's the excuse I have for the US. Oh and their parents would be in their mid thirties and, unless they're Japanese, they're probably selfish assholes. XD
