So who didn't attend the Cinderella premiere?

Every little girl wants to be Cinderella... or so you would think, from looking at how many child actresses showed up for the premiere of Disney's new live-action movie of the fairy tale. The big turnout shouldn't be a surprise, since Disney's Maleficent (review here and premiere here) saw a similar crowd last May. The Cinderella premiere was held March 1, at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. The movie is set for wide release for March 13. To keep up the trend, Disney has already started production on its next live-action fairy-tale movie, Beauty and the Beast, currently scheduled for release in 2016... and starring Emma Watson as Belle!

My review of the film is here.

Skai Jackson, 12, from Disney Channel's Jessie, must love black-and-gold outfits. She's worn them to several events.

Willow Shields, 14, from The Hunger Games franchise, can dress a bit frumpy sometimes, and this outfit is a really cute choice for her. I just wish that the skirt was a bit longer.

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, 7, and Sarah Hyland, 24, from ABC's Modern Family, both wore dresses with some shimmer to them. Sarah's almost blends in with the backdrop!

From Disney Channel's Dog With a Blog, Francesca Capaldi, 10, and G Hannelius, 16. (As Disney starlets, they were probably required to attend this event.) As you can see, blue was a popular color. Adult star Lily James, who plays Cinderella, also wore a blue gown.

From ABC's black-ish, Marsai Martin, 10, and Yara Shahidi, 15. Yara looks so much older than her age to me. Don't you think she could pass for 20?
