*whew*

So I am moving to London on March 12 to be with the love of my life, davidoflondon. I am so super excited but there is a lot of accomplish. I have to admit... yesterday when I actually received my passport with my visa I was a little grumpy because I am SO DAMN SICK and I was looking at a 9 hour shift of driving ahead of me. So I wasn't able to be as ( Read more... )

Italy is very nice, but I was telling my beloved that if she thinks London driving is crazy she should see how they do it in Rome!!

Yipes. Well, my betrothed didn't really help the case here... I don't think I want to be anywhere near Italian traffic!

Naw, I really would like to go there someday. I'm thinking we might go to Switzerland though. I've always wanted to go there. And besides, by that time I'll probably be missing my mountains.

We'll see! :-) Then there's the honeymoon to plan. :-D

I know there's so much to do and I wish I could help more but I'm here as moral support any time you need me and I'm counting the days until you're here (see note).

I love you so very, very much and our new life together is going to be so perfect. Every time I hear you describe packing a box, I think how much easier it will be as we unpack it and work out where to put everything in our house.

Note: At the moment it is more than 10 days and I only have ten fingers, so even using both thumbs as well I can only count to twelve (that doesn't sound right) anyway I'll do my best to keep counting off the days until the day count is a number I can manage :) I love's you very much.

My beautiful darling, I love you so very, very, very much too. I cannot wait to be there and the wonderful part is, it will be soon! Every minute that passes draws us closer to the wonderful date of March 12. Granted I won't arrive until March 13, but at least I'm making my way to your arms.

Yes. You will be able to help me unpack this mess! Hooray! But even moreso it will be fun to figure out where everything shall go. :-) I can't wait.

It will still be the 12th in Colorado when we mmet again. Your flight should land at 05:55 and with luck (and no mad Irish Jockeys giving you colds) you'll be in the terminal before 07:00 so we'll be in each other's arms while its still the 12th back where you began.

I hope your parents are OK about this. It's not like you're leaving the planet, and you'll still be in touch lots. You'll only be a plane trip away, and you can still talk via phone, Skype, email, letter... the world is a small place these days.

I'm so glad you're getting the animals organized too. What a relief.

Yes, we will keep in touch in all those ways. It will be sad though.

I am glad the animals seem to be sorted too. I'd better start checking for things to do for the birds if we do have to take them but really, I don't think there's much that can be done and I did speak to a vet when I was in England about bird quarantines.

It will be sad, true. But what an adventure lies before you!

That's good that you finally got a date. Don't work yourself too hard or it will be that much harder for your body to get over being sick. You should get yourself some echinacea tea and drink that a few times every day. Echinacea is a pretty good immune system boost, and hot drinks like tea are always comforting when you've got a cold. I had a co-worker that used to swear by the tablet version. I just happen to love tea so I go that route instead of taking a pill.

I'm glad your ferrets are ready and that if you do have to take the birds there aren't as many hoops to jump through.

I know. I wish I could've taken it more easy but I really don't have the time. But I knew that it would "cost" me by making me stay sick longer. Today, at least, I am finally starting to feel better. I used to take echinacea and it didn't seem to really help me but I could try again. I do have some Emergen-C though and I will take that daily. If nothing else, it's just a good multi-vitamin.

Yes, I do still need to check on what I have to do for the birds to move to England, but I don't think it's too much. I really hope the ferrets are ready! I mean, we did get the information from the people in charge of this so ... here's hoping everything is kosher. I've got to try and get my vet to do all the official paperwork to the UK's liking.
