New Planter for vegetable gardening.

Last weekend Bill helped me deconstruct two raised beds and build one new taller one. I hope to keep the beagle out of this higher garden as well as I've found I enjoy the other tall garden I made this past spring. Being closer to the plants to see more helps as well as less weeds and less insects. Of course during this week as I shoveled dirt

I wonder if the solar-powered freezers would work well here in MA...

I, too, would love a root cellar but have no place to put one, really. Plus digging anything in our yard- which is basically clay mixed with rocks- is very, very hard.
