We landed in Louisville on Wednesday afternoon. It is a green, a color that is soft and kind to the eye. We had a fun time before even leaving the airport. Seriously great shops inside there. That sound like such a lovely trip. Kentucky maintaining their roads?!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Maybe they should put some of those funds onto I-65. Kentucky's part of the interstate can knock your kidneys into your throat.
And I'm with you on the back roads. We always wished there was someplace we could pull the truck over and look over the quilts.
I'm so glad you had such a good time.

Sixty to zero in five feet is a lot of G-force to have to tolerate. Luckily enough I wasn't trying to have a drink of water at any time while you were in this mood.

Last time in KY I was pulled over for speeding by a FIREMAN. Apparently they can borrow the cop cars and drive them? He comes to the window wearing a baseball cap and shorts and I was pretty much incredulous. Then he saw he was in over his head. Rental car with plates for IL, my CA drivers license, and being in KY with questionable rights to give tickets.

I do have interesting adventures.

Tiger lilies and hazelnuts. Sounds idyllic.

And a quilt trail? It's as if the state were calling to you.
