Family, it is an odd and difficult concept for me. My mother and I are more of a twist on sibling rivalry over the love of my grandparents. My birth father is a mystery that I face every day in the mirror, because I really don't look like my maternal family. My grandparents were my parents to my heart

I told my shrink I found it weird that I was crying more since I've been seeing him. Happy or sad, my emotions are a lot less... suppressed.

He didn't have much to say about that, other than "Don't worry about it. Experience it."

I'm so glad you found that tape of your grandmother. That's wonderful.

Oh the retirement fund I would have for all the shrinking I've enjoyed. LOL. It was still a good investment.

But travel is limited for a bit, we're in the first year of paying for the house so we're re-learning our budget.

We'll be thinking about vacations later this year for next year.
