I'm feeling a bit reckless, Near. Want to work together, or at least pretend to until one or both of us is suspected of being a wolf?

Ah-- I'm fairly surprised I'm still alive, though I shouldn't be. It seems I'm going to be the scapegoat this round, especially if Lupin is a sheep.

And based on my observations, if I were to take everything I've heard and seen at face value, we get the following impossible pairs:

- Near/Ying
- Lupin/Ying
- Hakkai/Near
- Hakkai/Roy
- Hakkai/Ying
- Roy/Obi-Wan

And also, at this point, seeing that Il Palazzo was a sheep means that Sha Gojyo is most likely a sheep, as well.

I was going to attempt a list again, but I don't want to do that until the playing field narrows a bit more.

But back to the original question, I would have to say that it's a toss-up. Ash is selected to be a wolf quite often, but that doesn't shed any light on whether or not he's a wolf NOW.

Let us suppose:

If the numbers apply to you, Ash, and Sano-san, that means that one of you is a wolf, and one or two of those aside from Sha-san who are not among the numbers are wolves, depending on what, exactly, Lupin was.

So, possibilities include:

It is still a great deal of possibilities, but if we consider whom we have seen suspicious behavior from, we may be able to narrow it down further.

I think we can also eliminate all Ying/Hakkai ones, as well, seeing as how he contacted me. Either he is a wolf and I a sheep, or I am a wolf and he a sheep.

The Hakkai/Mustang pairs are still there; I think it'd be fairly safe to assume they're not both wolves. And eliminating the Ying/Mustang pairs would be going on my word alone, and I suppose if you trust that I suspect him as a wolf, then you'd have to trust me as a sheep.

Hmmm. One of the interpretations of it would point directly at Obi-Wan.

He "overlooked" that all three of Kenobi's initials were in it, no less.

His revised theory makes sense, and it still continues to point at Ash and Sano.

At this point, I'm willing to believe Sano's our wolf.

That is three instances of Sano-san appearing in three different interpretations of the clue, but one must also consider the possible interpretations of "three answers, one wolf" which migh point directly at Kenobi, who had three initials appear in the answers - three answers which could point to one wolf.

Sano-san does seem a likely case, but if it is Kenobi, then Sano-san cannot be one - but if Sano-san is one, then Kenobi cannot be.

Again, it is a tossup.
