It's not funny at all, laughing at others' misfortune.  I am truly sorry for the people who find themselves at risk of redundancy, but this line doesn't really do justice to their plight.  It just made me laugh.

On a similar note, I did laugh when they announced Wedgewood going out of business.

Seems there just aren't enough grannies-with-ornaments to go around these days.

And they are surprised we don't want to pay 12 installments of £27 for a plate? TeeHee.
