A while ago I raved about Dropbox.   Sadly, I can't give you a full user report as when it comes to being a full user, I fail.  The difficulty is not with Dropbox.  As usual, it's with me.

It's not funny at all, laughing at others' misfortune.  I am truly sorry for the people who find themselves at risk of redundancy, but this line doesn't really do justice to their plight.  It just made me laugh.

Is it just me, or does the opening to Blondie's 'Atomic' sound like 'Three Blind Mice'?

It's Bonfire Night.   It's drizzly and foggy.  It's very noisy, too so the drizzle hasn't put everyone off.

Not many bonfires, though,  Not many burning effigies of Guy Fawkes and no kids in the village this year asking for pennies (or pounds)  for the guy.

There's been something a bit magical about November so far.

On Sunday the new World Superbike Champion (for the third time), Troy Bayliss retired from his racing career with a double win in the first races ever at Portimao.   A fairytale ending to his astoundingly impressive career.

The problem with working - or not - 7 days per week is that after a while, all days are the same.

Consequently, I woke up this morning so convinced that it was Friday that when I saw Thursday's tablet in the pack, winking up at me, I didn't think "Oh, it must be Thursday, after all."  I thought,  "Oh no!  I missed Thursday's tablet!"
