xavilla. xavi has always been villa's really good friend and has always wanted to be more, but he's convinced that villa isn't/wouldn't/couldn't be attracted to him. and villa does like xavi, but he feels like xavi has like ~tacitly, I guess? rejected him. like, whenever villa flirts with him, xavi doesn't take it like it's flirting, because he doesn't think villa would flirt with him. so villa sleeps around but is never really happy in his relationships, and xavi is jealous and upset that he sleeps around. and neither one of them say anything, until...

tl;dr summary: xavi and villa are guys. guys are dumb. dumb guys are dumb, ergo they need a kick in the ass to realize they're dumb.

This prompt is flawless. Do you have anything specific in mind for the kick in the ass, or anyone, for that matter? I vote messi or iniestaaaa

OP here. no I didn't have anyone in particular in mind, but messi and iniesta would both be perfect as the ass kicker. like, awesomely perfect.

It’s always like this for Xavi after a game; it feels like it takes forever to get to sleep, the adrenaline still pumping through his veins, and even when he does, he wakes up early; sore, grumpy, but wide awake ( ... )

so, um. Yes. I really loved this and whoever wrote this, I am really in love with you right now. just aaaaagghh. words cannot express how much I am in love with this. I love how xavi knows villa so well and he always brings him bagels and then when he ran into that guy omg soooo awkward and perfect, you pulled off jealous!xavi so so so perfectly.

and then leo having xavi at his mercy, and when it's like, duh, you two are in love, and everybody but you knows it. and then when he's like, don't pass to him anymore hahahaha loved it.

and these just about killed me--

My Madridista heart does not want to enjoy the image of David Villa with cream cheese all over his lips, but I actually think I'm melting. This was a lovely fill! ♥
