Now, I know that this whole situation is confusing, and that this uncertainty causes a lot of stress. i already push the boundaries of what is reasonable office dress - even in a very liberal office. a tutu isn't too too far off.

Well said. I think that some of the crazy worst-case scenarios I am seeing thrown around are really more a form of escapism than rational evaluations of the situation. When you have a mundane middle-class existance, the idea of being Mad Max can sound pretty exciting (not to mention that it suddenly gives you a justification for owning all those guns).
