I know, I love that scene simply for the fact that he was so pissed at her. We've never seen that before, it was their first big fight. Just so angsty and great.
#1 - The look on his face when he says, "Yeah, but you're a genius, and that's good enough for me." DB brings it home with that; it's just this trusting, open, desperate look. Booth just wants her to be there. He just KNOWS that her being there will make it better. SO, so good.
#5 - I love banter in this one. "There's no one else I would trust..." and Brennan smiles, and Booth goes, "Do you want more?" And Brennan, totally knowing she's being played says, "No, that will be sufficient." LOVE.
I think scene #1 was some of David's best acting of the season. He was so vulnerable, and there were really no words needed. He sold it just with his expressions.
LOL, I wonder how much more he would have given her to convince her to help him out. He's such a sweet-talker. She knew she might as well give in. Usually I think Brennan's got Booth wrapped around her finger, but in this scene it showed that it's also the other way around.
OMG, me too. He had this amazing look on his face - it was vulnerable, and scared, and trusting, just this amazing level of trust. Like he believed that if she was there, just there, nothing bad would happen.
Also, when he gets his by Dr. Collar, and she's all concerned about him, and then he just tells her, "You're the only smart person I like." It felt like they were already together, in that moment.
You SO picked the BEST moments. THE BEST. The only one I would add would be an earlier scene in that same ep - when Booth tells her that Collar is hot for her, and that people leave marks on each other. It ends in on of my favorite B/B lines ever. "You heard me, but you just didn't understand me."/"I wonder that about you all of the time."
Lord that was awesome. You're right in that the end scenes tend to be epic. These scenes *were* awesome, I can't wait to get my DVD's so I can rewatch all these ;-D
