So if the other cases are anything to go by, he'll be back in approximately a week with new memories from his home.
[Here Heather, have a frown. Bet you've seen a lot of those from this guy, but this isn't so deep - just one that indicates thought. He looks a bit distant, for a second, before adressing the gear more directly.]
[The funny thing about teenagers is that on one hand, they can be such cleverly deceptive little shits sometimes, but other times... it seems like they can't help but wear their hearts on their sleeves.]
[Heather frowns at that observation, tensing up. She doesn't like getting called out on stuff, especially when the other party is right.]
... Well, good thing it doesn't matter.
[... Because of course the proper response when you're called out on not being okay is to aim a dig at the other person implying that they're not important enough for you to care about whether or not they see through the lies.]
[While Heather isn't TOO worried about Phoenix (look at his NAME, for one thing...), the thought that someone might DIE at home before coming back is something that's occurred to her. But she'd rather not think about it.]
... At least I can keep an eye on him when he's like this.

[Yeah, so, initially he wasn't terribly happy to hear Heather's voice over the feed as he sat in one of the pokemon center's back rooms, sorting through the ever-growing and neverending pile of patient files. He had enough to worry about for the remainder of his shift without his "favorite" antagonist on the scene.
As he listens to her tone and what she has to say, however, and hears the Joys' whispered discussion about 'that young lady' on one of his trips up front to drop off and pick up some more files about the miserable-looking girl with the boyish haircut trying to look as small as possible in one of the lobby's corners....well
( ... )

[Man, what a great first (... second, actually?) impression... The stuff Gaga hears from those nurses is, as one might expect, nothing flattering. The best of it is that she's a disrespectful hoodlum, and the worst of it... is that she actually freaked the eff out and gave one of the nurses a concussion with an IV pole last fall. So, unsurprisingly, they're... not too thrilled with her being back in town. And Heather seems perfectly aware of this. Which is WHY she's cringing around when Gaga spots her...]
[Needless to say, he's right. She's a lot less intimidating-looking right now.]
[So when the cup is set down near her elbow, she looks up in surprise.]
Uh--
[.... oh. ... oh crap it was that guy she kind of totally trolled mercilessly a little while ago. And right now she was SO not feeling like keeping up that act.]

Hello.
[insert crickets chirping here. Don't worry, he's been trained better than to kick a lady when she's down...no matter how loose the term might be applied in Heather's case sometimes :V

[INDEED, Gaga. Indeed.]
[Heather is wondering the exact same thing. She can't exactly be all like 'So hey, sorry about teasing you about those flaming blankets', can she? Running her tongue over her lips briefly, she thatches her fingers in front of her on the table.]
Uh... yeah.
Keep calm and carry on, y'know? I'm good. ... Pretty much.
[She's not necessarily feeling GUILTY about having trolled him a little (it's not like she was TOO mean, right?), but ... well, she's ALREADY feeling bad about her crimes against nurses, so...]
Yeah... well, I guess you could say it is quieting down a little... not like he'll be makin' much noise in his sleep, heh.
[She nods, though. He's right on the money and while she's not too keen on broadcasting it everywhere, he already knew this story. He was the one who'd cleaned her up when she came out of the woods like some kind of wild woman after it was all over, after all.]
It's just... it's reeeaaal awkward being back here again.
Yeah, I'm not really worried about that... well, 'cept that being stuck in a hospital bed for any period of time really sucks. [She knew THAT from experience. And it made her feel kinda bad that Phoenix was gonna be stuck in here till he woke up.]
But... yeah.
[She shifts uncomfortably a little, then lowers her voice to a mumble.]
I attacked one of the nurses here by accident. ... You know, when...
[Maybe he'd get to see some of his friends before he and Dash set out! That'd be nice! But...poor Phoenix. He can't keep that cheer up. He's worried. Phoenix is always sick or falling off cliffs or...into comas?]
I-I'm...sure he'll be okay. But that's sort of...one of our travel friends disappeared very recently. Dash ended up with all her Pokemon.
I hope home is where people go when they disappear.
I didn't know her very well, but she and Dash seemed to get along great.
I'd like to come by and see you two before we leave. Hah, we've been 'about to leave' for a while now, but I keep finding things to do. I think Dash is going to put some of Kate's Pokemon into the PC anyway.
[WAS SOMEBODY AFRAID OF MOVING ON? MAYBE. JUST A HAIR.]
Well hey, it's not like Phoenix is gonna be going anywhere... he's in one of the little private rooms they got here. Not that he'll... y'know, KNOW, but... I'm sure he'd appreciate that you came by. I'm kinda sittin' in there off and on.
[She wouldn't mind a visit from the skeleton, though. It'd certainly distract her from all the suspicious and wary looks she kept getting from the Nurse Joys...]

Are you alright?

And, uh... yeah. I'm peachy-keen.
[No, she's definitely not. She keeps on looking off-camera, almost nervously.]

You're not a very good liar, Heather.

[Yep, just assuming you're like that because of Phoenix.]

Yeah... I just hope he's not too different when he wakes up.

[He can't help but wonder... what are the chances Phoenix will live through, say... one more year before he comes back?]

...Heather? I'm going to guess you're upset about a little more than just Phoenix.

Heh, yeah, I got here about a week ago. Came back with Phoenix and Snake so that I could meet somebody.
But yeah, I'm... sure he'll be okay, too.
[Her brows peak a little when he mentions his vanished traveling-mate.]
Oh... I'm sorry... [She hadn't known Rainbow Dash was traveling with him... what an odd pair, seriously.] ... Yeah, I hope so too.
