[She'd just sort of... gotten sick of the nurses following her around and trying to constantly check if any Gligar poison had gotten into those cuts. There were only so many times you could tell them "If any had, I'd probably be bloated and purple right now." before it started getting old.]

I'm not sure there's anyone in Johto that didn't catch it. [He sounds so incredibly disdainful of the Joker. Not because he particularly minds the chaos, but he doesn't like his technique. No subtlety at all.]

As much as my dignity's wounded, yeah. I like to think I wasn't completely owned. And heh-- [She rolls some of the coins around between her fingers, rubbing them together.] Not too sure I'll keep it... technically belongs to the store. And stolen money isn't really my style.

Does make a nice consolation prize, though.

I wonder if he noticed that he dropped like half his weight in coinage.

If anything, she feels... just a little bit embarrassed to have told him and the other two "I'll take care of things back here" and then to have wound up not being able to do much about this happening. True, it wasn't like she'd said 'I WILL PROTECT THE CITY AND ITS CITIZENS FROM ALL HARM, LIKE SUPERMAN' or something, that would have been stupid, but...]
