Ah, April Fool's Day! The perfect occasion to show someone you love them by playing nasty tricks on them and guffawing as they stand, bewildered, trying to figure out what just happened.

I'm planning on making meatloaf cupfakes tomorrow for dinner. :-)

A question though: what to serve with them? Any ideas of somethign that looks sweet but is actually a savory side dish? or should I just give up on that idea and make some broccoli or something?

Yay! Hope you all love them! Why not try the Cheddar, Chive, and Bacon Cupfakes with Avocado Frosting alongside them? It'll look like a dinner of cupcakes :) You could also bake a savory pie! Like a pot pie? I'm lame and I just served them with stuffed squash. haha.
