Rome restaurant suggestions

My parents asked me to request suggestions for Rome restaurants. Nothing super fancy, just delicious restaurants with good food, that the guide books might not know about. They'd love if you could share restaurant names and addresses, and your suggestions for the best dishes. (I'm sure gelato counts too)

Wellll... it was my first time by myself. I made them once at a cooking class two years ago. Their technique, which is something I didn't see when I read recipes online to refresh my memory, was to stir by using a rubber spatula to pick up a big glob of the batter and smearing it on the side of the bowl. Then, after each stir (or every five or something), pick up the batter on the spatula and try to pour it to see if it's coming off smoothly (then it's good) or unevenly/in chunks (needs more stirring). By frequently checking you can avoid overstirring.
Also, we baked it at a really low temperature compared to most people-- 130 Centigrade.

Thank you! I watched a bunch of videos, bought a book and read who-knows how many recipes& related articles. Still don't get it :) I have my hopes for class too.
