Something totally awesome just happened. Willow Bird Baking was featured in a lovely article on the front page of my local newspaper, The Charlotte Observer. What an amazing experience ( Read more... )

Yeah, the only thing surprising about you being featured in your local paper is that you weren't featured in the New York Times... or like your own cooking show. You're kind of amazing.

The tarts look delicious! Will definitely be trying them out!

Nope, thank YOU. You always post such great recipes and easy to follow instructions. It's really great and I've been saving a bunch of them to try one day because they all sound so yummy. I really enjoy your posts. I hope you don't stop posting here when you become all big and famous. =)

*I'm not carrying any cash and the only coins I have are smaller than quarters since I hoard those for laundry. But still, you'd get as much as .80 out of it.

Looks so good! And I appreciate your shoe issue. This comes from someone who physically can't walk in heels, yet just bought a pair of teal suede peep-toe platforms. Thankfully they were cheap, but I still paid $15 for something that will sit on a shelf.

They sound so cute though!! I almooooosssst bought a pair of bright magenta booties (suede!) for $11 the other day. I'm still a little sad that I resisted.
