Guh! I thought they were trying to regulate this crap after so many outbreaks with the peanuts, tomatoes and spinach :/
Thanks for the warning. My boyfriend's driving home from NorCal today and he likes the garlic ones they sell at gas stations as road-snacks.

yeah, it really sucks.
"Eat healthy!" the world yells. I eat healthy and I can die of salmonella or E. coli. UGH.

well, with baklava, it should be enough to kill the bacteria since the temp goes over 160*F, but just to be safe...
here in florida there's warnings about lemons, limes and kumkuats since people don't sterilize their compost from the little local farms.
