It wasn't difficult at all! The egg whites are warm, and the butter is room temperature. It's a bit of a process, but it was a perfect project for my new stand mixer.
That's a crazy Giada icon - she looks like she's going to eat me (after putting a dollop of mascarpone cheese and some crumbled amaretti cookies on me, of course).

And they look fantastic. Was the frosting hard to make? Adding butter to the egg whites sounds a little trying...
