S.F. Fishermans Wharf Request!

Hi All,

I'm heading to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco on Sunday for some squished pennies, I'm wondering if anyone here has a favorite touristy Crab place??

I've been looking at some online reviews but nothing is really standing out to me, any suggestions would be great!

OMG! I just posted a crab place in SF Fisherman's Wharf today! Sorry to just place a link but here it is:

I had the crab there and thought it was great! You'll see it in the picture, good amount of meat and great quality. The potatoes, not so good in my opinion. =)

Certain machines at touristy places, if you feed them a penny and like 50 cents to a dollar, will flatten and stretch said penny, putting a stamp of wherever you're at on the penny as a sort of memento.

Ha - I thought it was your way of saying that you were trying to be extremely frugal. Like you weren't just going to SF "for pennies" but "for squished pennies." :-p

I asked for recommendations for the two times I went to SF, so you might check the "restaurants" or the "san francisco" tab - though I'm not sure anyone specifically mentioned a crab place.
