Cornbread Dressing with Giblet Gravy

Upon request, here is my grandmother’s recipe for cornbread dressing with giblet gravy. We’ve had this for Thanksgiving every year for as long as I can remember! I don’t have pictures, but I think the recipes are pretty porny all on their own. ;)

chicken, turkey, corn meal, celery, buttermilk, dressing, thanksgiving, butter, eggs, gravy, autumn, onions

OH MY GAWD.

if i had to pick a last meal before i died it would be the thanksgiving spread. ESPECIALLY cornbread stuffing. i thought mine was badass, but this one looks CRAZZZY. i'll definitely have to try it out.

I am one of those odd food connoiseurs that enjoys eating things that most find disgusting (tongue, squid, etc.) and that giblet gravy sounds amazing. I am also always trying to find something more productive to do with giblets than just boil them and throw them to the dogs. Thanks!

Now...can you get your grandma's recipe for chicken and dumplings? That would make my life complete. I make dressin' just like hers...but with bisquick biscuits instead of canned...

Gods...yum...

Now, about that chicken and dumplings recipe? I'll love you forever...or something...
