Back at home, there's a local chain of grocery stores that has the most absolutely delicious chip dip ever, called "Mexicana Dip." When I lived at home I never thought about what might go into this dip (the ingredients listed a whole bunch of crazy technical things) because it was always at the store down the street whenever I wanted some, and life

How funny...when my husband and I first started dating, he introduced me to salsa & cream cheese dip. I think it looks gawd-awful, especially if you don't let the cream cheese soften enough because you get little cream cheese lumps in there (the blender is a great idea!), but it taste *delicious*!

I buy a fire roasted salsa for mine. I forget the brand name now, but it's one of those salsas in the refrigerated section.

lol, my friends out here all had the same reaction when they first saw it. "Ew, gross!" and then the more I talked about how wonderful it was, curiousity got the better of them and they love it. I can't wait until the next time we have a party so I can make a bunch of this to share.
