It still takes a hell of a lot of will power and even more mental preparation on my part to say what I really mean. Does that mean I am not grown-up? :)

will power is pretty cool too. several years ago, maybe, even will power was not strong enough to make you say want you really mean. so no worries, you are good.

Agree. I think we are in that blessed stage of life when we actually settle most of our internal debts and start to enjoy the flow and the ebb of things. My only regret is that this stage came pretty late in life for me.

I hear that having kids brings the mental turmoil back.

I don't think it's pretty late - I think thirty is just the right time!

And as for kids, don't know, but god bless contraceptives (for now!).
