We had a wonderful Holy Week (busy too, with church or church related engagements all but Monday and Wednesday). Well, Noelle's Easter dress (shown in previous posts) was actually too small for her, so we had to exchange it today, and found the dress we had originally spotted and wanted a couple months ago, in the right size! The dress we took back was 3-6 months, and too tight in the chest. The new one fits her perfectly, and is 9 months.

This Maundy Thursday I found myself asking what Maundy meant. After finding that out I was thinking about the passage in the Gospel of St. John (esp. 13:34), and again reminded of it in church...and I realized that sadly this commandment is still new to almost all of us: "that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love ( Read more... )

We were having our tires and oil changed today and decided to do some mall shopping while waiting, okay so far. As we were leaving the mall we happened by a gumball stand that the boys just couldn't pass up, when in our search for quarters we discovered that my "wallet" was missing (those who have seen said wallet will understand the quotation ( Read more... )
